Tuners:
There are some great tuners for acoustic instruments that make playing in tune a breeze!
Here are some suggestions for all students who need one.
-
Snark Tuner - this gadget clips on to your headstock, and picks up the vibrations from the guitar to tune it accurately.
-
Guitar Tuna- This is an app for your iphone that is a chromatic tuner. Works for all instruments.
-
Tuning the guitar to itself: back in the old days when gadgets were not as prevalent, we learned how to tune the guitar by matching notes on two strings. Watch this tutorial for the details (PS everyone should learn how to do this).

Regular Private Lessons:
Regular private lessons are $30 for a 30-minute lesson or $60 for a 60-minute lesson. Individualized lesson plans are available and prices will be determined by the instructor and communicated to the student. Payment is due for the month in full, whether or not the student will be attending his/her lesson at the first lesson of the month. I will provide make-up lesson opportunities for missed lessons.

Group Lessons:
Group lessons are available and pricing is determined by the instructor and communicated to the students. Payment is due in full before the beginning of the first group lesson. There are no make-up lessons offered if you are absent from a class. If there is inclement weather that prohibits travel to the studio, the class will be canceled and an alternate date will be offered for make-up. All group class dates will be clearly stated at the beginning of the sessions.
Online Lessons:
Online lessons are $30 for a 30-minute lesson or $60 for a 60-minute lesson. Lessons must be paid in advance via Zelle, or check through the mail. Students must be able to use online platforms of FaceTime (Mac), Zoom, Google Meet or What's App, a high-speed internet connection, a webcam/microphone/headphones, and a guitar. If you have to cancel a lesson for any reason you must let me know 24 hours in advance to schedule a make-up. Any cancellations less than 24 hours of the online lesson will forfeit the lesson without a refund. If I have to cancel for any reason I will let you know in advance and we will reschedule. If technical/internet issues occur during our lesson and we are unable to get all of our time in, we will reschedule your lesson or make up for the missed time.

Hours:
Reunion Guitar Studio is open Wednesday & Thursdays afternoon and evenings.

Rescheduling lessons:
If you are unable to attend your scheduled lesson, call, text or email me up to one hour prior to your scheduled lesson to cancel. Any cancellation after that point is considered a “No-show.” I will make every attempt to reschedule your lesson within that week so that we keep the lessons consistent. If we are unable to do so, that lesson can be rescheduled for a make up lesson.

No-shows:
If you fail to attend your scheduled lesson, it is non-refundable and is not eligible for a make-up lesson.
Make-up lessons:
I offer 1 make-up day per quarter where eligible students are invited to make up previous or upcoming missed lessons in that quarter. Students can make up two 30 min. lessons per quarter. Making up missed lessons is your choice, and there is no reimbursement for missed lessons.

Instructor’s cancellations:
There are times during the year where I will be unavailable to teach due to vacations, business, etc. I will give you these dates in advance and do not hold you responsible to pay for these days. I will communicate any dates the studio is closed prior to the first of each month.
Inclement Weather: If there is inclement weather that prohibits travel to the studio, lessons will be made up at a future date.

Holidays:
The studio will be closed Thanksgiving day and the week between Christmas day through New Years day.

Request:
Please enter my house without knocking or ringing the doorbell. Please do not enter more than 5 minutes before your scheduled lesson time. Please be available to pick up your student within 5 minutes of the lesson ending. This ensures limited disruptions of other lessons in progress.
